The electric chain hoist is a lifting equipment that we often use. So do you know what the structure of the electric hoist is? Next we will take a closer look at the structure of the electric hoist.

Electric hoist structure

The electric chain hoist is composed of multiple parts such as motor, reducer, brake, hook, and lifting chain. The motor is the power source of the electric hoist. When it is used, the rotation of the motor drives the operation of the reducer, and then drives the operation of the sprocket and chain. Here, we need to note that the power of the motor determines the lifting capacity of the electric hoist. Then there is the reducer part, which can change the high-speed rotation of the motor into the low-speed rotation of the sprocket, so as to ensure that the lifting chain is moving at a constant speed and will not be too fast or too slow.

The brake of the fixed electric hoist is used to control the stop and maintenance of the equipment. Generally, an electromagnetic brake or a mechanical brake is used. When the motor of the equipment stops working, the brake will start to fix the lifting chain and hook. In the current position, ensure that the goods do not fall. Hooks are used to hang goods. They are mostly made of alloy steel and have a heat-treated surface. The sprocket and chain are the core parts of the electric hoist. They transmit the power of the motor to the hook to complete the lifting operation.
