Lifting height of hand chain hoist

2024-06-27

The lifting height of the inverted chain hoist is generally 2.5 meters or 3 meters. The lifting chains are selected in different lengths according to different requirements, and the galvanized hand zipper also changes according to the length of the lifting chain. According to production standards, the lifting height is equal to the standard hand chain length. The tonnage of manual hoists we choose is mostly within 7.5 tons, and hoists with higher tonnage are not used frequently.

The lifting height production standard stipulates that it cannot exceed 12 meters, nor can it be lower than the specified value. It refers to the movement distance in the hook between the top of the lifting chain, the bottom of the chain and the bottom, or the maximum distance between the two hooks minus the minimum distance between the two hooks. Because it is a light and small lifting machine, its height is mostly suitable for small-scale lifting operations, including the installation and maintenance of some equipment. This lifting tool can also be used.

As the lifting height increases by 1 meter, the weight will also increase. For example, if the height of a 1-ton chain hoist increases by 1 meter, the weight will increase by 1.8kg. When we hoist to a certain height, we should not hang heavy objects for too long. We should complete the work in an orderly manner to avoid leaving the site halfway through the hoisting.

When installing the inverted chain hoist, you should also choose a suitable and stable lifting point. When hanging heavy objects on the lower hook, you can also use it with a flat or flexible lifting belt as a connection between the lifted object and the hook. The lifting height must be kept clear of other foreign objects to prevent collisions. The higher the height, the more likely it is to cause safety problems. Therefore, when carrying out the operation, it is necessary to first determine the lifting operation process and whether the cooperation of multiple people is required.
